The Morning Terrace
- under renovation
The garden east of the mansion and bordered by the perimeter wall to the south and the balustrade running north and south encloses an intimate space defined by a massive ginkgo and a formal boxwood hedge. This area has been traditionally planted as a white or "moon" garden. Guests using the loggia will experience a color palette of white, silver and chartreuse, which make this area vibrant into the evening hours. A lush planting of hydrangeas on the north side of the garden wall carries out the white color scheme in bold and dramatic fashion.
