The
Ceremony/Reception
Garden
The Ceremony Garden
A small formal garden, circular in shape and defined by a hedge of sheared Hicks yew. Created for use in celebrating the ceremonies and passages of life experiences. Births and baptisms, weddings, anniversaries and memorials; all can be accommodated in this garden. An exquisite wrought iron gate that originally separated the Paine from an adjoining family property has been masterfully relocated into this garden as a backdrop, enhanced with a planting of white clematis and standing in stark contrast to the delicate paperbark birches in the contingent wildflower garden.
The Reception Garden
This space serves as companion to the Ceremony garden in respect to its dual function. A formal oval, the Reception Garden is also designed to facilitate gatherings. It is surrounded by beds of soft pastels and green; providing a neutral background for the flowers brought in as part of the celebrations booked for the area. The formality and shape of the garden helps create a dramatic vista that terminates with the Bird Garden pond.
